Moving to Lubbock ...

OK, I'm going to start blogging again, to keep track of a big change in my life, moving from a large Texas metropolitan area to a small city. Mostly this will be a job-related blog, since that's the reason for the move. I'll record the family angst elsewhere, etched eternally on my mind.

I'll be teaching public relations this fall at Texas Tech University and I'm looking forward to meeting new people, colleagues, and students. Especially interesting will be teaching a campaigns course again, where I can talk about writing and other creative endeavors while helping students complete a service learning project. I'm hoping that students in that course will be able to blog about it, tracking their own thoughts and learning.
