LAST POST OF THE SEMESTER

Here's what you need to know to finish this course:

1. We will not be meeting formally in class on Wednesday, Dec. 7, but I will be here to talk with you individually during class time on that day. Just drop by my office in GAB 101B to discuss your project if you need additional help. Or drop me an email. That address is my last name, at unt.edu.

2. Your final paper is due at noon Monday, Dec. 12, to the main journalism office in GAB 102. Just take it there and they will mail it to me in a bundle, since I have a chemo treatment on Dec. 13. If it's not there by noon, it can't be mailed.

3. For your final posting to your blog, please post your name, so that I'll be sure to give you proper credit.

4. If you haven't given me a final project proposal, I need it because it is part of the assignment. Include it as part of your blog if you haven't given me a slip of paper.

5. The top two questions from students are these: how long is the final project? how many sources? Answers are: 8 pages, double spaced, with proper citations following APA or MLA style; and you'll need 10 sources, no more than 5 from the web. Be sure to give proper credit for your sources.

I thank you for your support and understanding this semester--the course and our discussions have really kept me going. Have a wonderful winter break, and good luck to those of you who are graduating. I hope to see the rest of you this spring. Best to all.

See you Monday and Wednesday, Dec. 5 & 7

I'm just confirming that I'll see you tomorrow and Wednesday. We'll meet for about 45 minutes.
