Ads with (the wrong) emotion

We talked a bit in class on Wednesday about emotional appeals and how they can mess up information processing. Here's a different take on the emotion of "snide," from Ad Age.

Sometimes PR must deal with these issues, if only as the clean-up crew for the kinds of attitudes this type of advertising may produce.
